Founder of Nutrition Health & Wellbeing, Leeanne Azzopardi provides a customised and integrated counselling approach to promote general good health and manage a range of more specific nutrition-related issues. Having completed a Bachelors Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics and a Bachelors Degree in Food Science and Nutrition, Leeanne combines dual qualifications with great skill garnered from her experience in clinical, community health and private practice, to translate the latest nutritional information into meaningful personalised nutrition interventions to assist and empower her patients to obtain long term results and improve their health and wellbeing.
Leeanne believes in her non dieting approach to health and nutrition, having a special interest weight management, Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes and gastro intestinal health. Leeanne enjoys travelling to new places, trying new restaurants, being creative in the kitchen and a nice chat with friends over wine.
Marie is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) and Accredited Nutritionist (AN). She has completed a Bachelor and Honours degree in Food Science and Nutrition and a Masters degree in Dietetics at Deakin University. Marie believes it is important to be able to enjoy the foods you love whilst sustaining a healthy lifestyle. She is passionate about guiding and motivating her clients to find balance, as well as encouraging them to achieve their health goals and adapt lifelong changes.
Marie specialises in developing customised nutrition plans, providing education and support to empower individuals to improve their food choices and overall health and wellbeing.
Theresa is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) who completed a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics from Monash University. She is passionate about food and nutrition but more importantly promoting, enabling and motivating individuals to increase control and improve their health and wellbeing. Her experiences and involvement with local communities has enabled her to constantly promote healthy lifestyles and provide individualised nutrition education to all community members.
She has a keen interest in weight management, diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Her extensive food knowledge enables her to assist clients in achieving their health and nutrition goals. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants and cafes and keep active by going hiking and playing basketball.
Brooke is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Health Promotion), Advanced Diploma of Business (Public Relations), Graduate Certificate of Human Nutrition and Masters Degree in Dietetics.
Brooke has a keen interest in paediatric nutrition, diabetes, weight management and gastrointestinal issues, including irritable bowel syndrome, fructose malabsorption and coeliac disease. Brooke is passionate about working with clients to assist them with a return to good health and wellbeing through customised nutrition solutions.
As a former state volleyball player, Brooke understands the importance and benefits of exercise and maintaining a fit and healthy lifestyle. As a mother of three Brooke also enjoys playing cricket, swimming and tennis with her children.
Vivian is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD), Accredited Nutritionist (AN) and Accredited Sports Dietitian. She has completed a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics degree at Monash University.
Vivian is passionate about promoting good health and wellbeing through food and nutrition and supporting individuals in achieving their goals. Sports nutrition, weight management, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal health and aged care nutrition are areas which she specialises in. With her background and experience as a competitive dancer, Essendon Football Club VFL Dietitian (2015) and Dietitian at the Coburg Football Club (current), she believes that nutrition and building a healthy relationship with food, along with exercise plays a crucial role in maintaining good health. Outside of work, Vivian likes to stay active and is a Championship Reserve Senior competitor in Calisthenics and a ballerina. She loves to spend time with family and friends as well as try out new recipes.
Simone is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) having completed a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Dietetic Practice at La Trobe University.
Simone is passionate about improving the health of individuals by providing food and nutrition advice tailored to their lifestyle, goals and health needs. She believes in empowering individuals to make gradual and sustainable changes to promote lifelong health and wellbeing. Her main interest areas include weight management, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and gastrointestinal health including coeliac disease, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and fructose and lactose malabsorption.
In her spare time, Simone enjoys catching up with family and friends, experimenting in the kitchen, and keeping active by going for runs and playing basketball.
Stephanie Yap is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) who completed a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics with Honours at Monash University.
Stephanie is skilled at employing motivational interviewing to develop tailored and realistic nutrition care plans. Her vision is to empower all Australians to have a positive relationship with food and take an active role in their own health. She also works in the hospital setting, and specialises in chronic disease, weight management and aged care.
Outside of work, she is a keen swimmer and long-distance runner who enjoys trying out new recipes.
Adrianna is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) who has completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Dietetic Practice at La Trobe University.
Adrianna is passionate about empowering individuals to enhance their health and wellbeing through food and nutrition. She believes in supporting individuals to reach their goals and health needs by helping them to make sustainable changes which fit their lifestyle. Adrianna’s interest areas include weight management, diabetes, gastrointestinal conditions, cardiovascular health and aged care.
In her spare time, Adrianna enjoys spending time with family and friends and keeping active outdoors.
Mai’s passion for cooking was ignited at 4 years old which led to a passion for nutrition. Before becoming a Dietitian Mai worked as a nanny and in hospitality where she learned to communicate with individuals from all walks of life.
She completed her Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics with the University of Canberra and worked in Darwin, Alice Springs, Canberra, Melbourne and Brisbane. Mai enjoys sharing nutrition research in a practical and easy-to-follow manner. She is experienced in helping patients managing chronic diseases, weight, and food allergies and intolerances. In particular, she has an interest in nutrition at conception and pregnancy and in the aging population.
Mai can often be found spending time in nature, experimenting with recipes and planning overseas adventures.
Ashley completed her Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics at Deakin University to become an accredited practicing dietitian (APD) and accredited nutritionist (AN). She has over six years clinical and community experience as a dietitian having worked both in Australia and across the UK.
Ashley believes strongly in empowering individuals to make the right choices for themselves to achieve their health goals by providing realistic, sustainable and balanced advice. She is passionate about the role that food and nutrition plays in a healthy and happy life. She is particularly interested in the areas of diabetes, cardiovascular health, gastrointestinal disorders, sports nutrition and the non-diet approach to health.
In her spare time, Ashley enjoys keeping busy in the outdoors and you’ll usually find her hiking or out for a run. She has also recently taken up surfing since relocating to the surf coast, however is making slow progress! She loves all things food and is always trying out new recipes, checking out local cafes and experimenting in the kitchen.
Emma is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) having completed a Bachelor of Human Nutrition with Honours at La Trobe University and a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics at Flinders University. Emma is passionate about sharing her knowledge of nutrition through a client centered approach, tailoring advice for each individual, couple or family based on realistic advice suitable for their individual situation, as well as assisting in the management and/or prevention of disease and the promotion of good health. She is very passionate and motivating in helping clients to achieve their goals through long term, sustainable diet and lifestyle changes.
Emma has a keen interest in diabetes, cardiovascular disease, paediatrics and gastrointestinal issues, including irritable bowel syndrome and coeliac disease. In her spare time Emma enjoys keeping active by walking her dogs, dodge ball and scuba diving and enjoys experimenting in the kitchen.
