Stella Kwan

Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD)

Being a food enthusiast, Stella is always interested in knowing and exploring cultural foods while traveling. She became passionate about nutrition through auditing some food nutrition courses when she was doing her bachelors. Graduated with an honors in Biochemistry, she was taught to always seek the truth and prove with evidence. Stella believes the way to being a successful dietitian is not only about delivering evidence-based advice but also tailor-made patient care. She has the long-held belief that food should not be “stigmatized” but to choose wisely so as to help people achieve their personal health goals. Her interested nutritional areas cover but not limited to, chronic disease management (weight loss/ obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases), gut-related diseases/ conditions and post-surgery nutrition. In her leisure time, she is accountable for her profession and devotes time in taking courses relating to areas that she is not yet familiar with. Stella enjoys traveling, cooking with friends, going to the gym and trying all sorts of adrenaline-rush activities!
