Our Mission
Our mission is to ultimately help improve our client’s quality of life so when they leave our consultation they are feeling empowered and good about themselves. We work with our clients to understand their core underlying issues, working together to change their mindset.
In your first consultation, a nutrition assessment will be undertaken to provide us with the information needed to able to formulate an eating plan tailored to your individual requirements. We discuss your goals, usual food intake, dietary habits and factors that may be affecting your eating patterns, medical conditions, medications, nutrition supplements, food allergies and intolerances, dietary requirements, physical activity, and other important areas to help formulate your eating plan.
During this process we complete a personalised nutrition assessment of your food and nutrient intake, complete medical history, physical activity levels, and your macro and micronutrient intake to help you understand your current diet and where it may be improved. We do a calculation of you energy requirements, protein, carbohydrate and fat intake and identify any dietary and behavioural factors affecting food intake to formulate a suitable eating plan.
Establishing dietary goals and an action plan we provide you with motivation and support to break through any barriers and modify behaviours to help change/improve eating patterns that are keeping you from achieving your health goals. We guide you through confusing areas of balanced nutrition, develop your structured eating plan and provide continued education to increase your knowledge and help maintain healthy long term dietary practices
Following the implementation of your action plan, we monitor progress and fine tune your eating habits as required whilst giving providing ongoing education, continued motivation and support as changes are made to your nutritional health and wellbeing.
