We specialise in Food Intolerance and Gastrointestinal Health, as well as all areas of Dietetics.
An Accredited Practising Dietitian has completed a university degree in nutrition and dietetics recognised by the Dietitians Association of Australia.
In Australia, all Dietitians are considered nutritionists, however nutritionists without a dietetic qualification cannot undertake the role of a Dietitian and are not recognised by Medicare. Dietitians have completed additional studies, which make them medically trained professionals able to provide medical nutritional therapy in a variety of settings.
An initial consultation with us takes between 45-60 minutes, which includes a thorough assessment of your healthy history and current intake, followed by goal setting, advice and an eating plan to get you started. Future appointments or reviews are scheduled for 20-30 minutes.

The number of visits you require will depend on various reasons; including, the reason for your visit or how much monitoring and level of assistance you require. Your dietitian will discuss the frequency of visits required with you to ensure you get the most out of your sessions with us. We may advise weekly or fortnightly visits initially, then extend the time between visits as you require less monitoring and become more confident.
You do not need a doctor’s referral to see one of our Accredited Practising Dietitians. However, some clients are eligible for up to 5 visits a year, which is covered by Medicare, under a Government funded Health Care Plan (Enhanced Primary Care Plan). You can ask your GP if you are eligible.
Yes, depending on your level of cover you may be entitled for a rebate from your private health fund. Speak to your health fund about your eligible rebate.
We will provide you with an eating plan at your initial consultation, track your progress and fine-tune this as your needs change. We will do our best to provide you with support and the structure to help you achieve your dietary goals.
We get this question a lot!
There are a number of reasons why diets in the past have not worked:
